Five Years Already?!

Robbie and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary on New Years Eve last weekend.  It really doesn't feel like that long ago that we got married, honeymooned in Maui, and started our life together in Atlanta.  Our first anniversary we took a mini trip to The Biltmore Estate in NC.  We made some nice memories there - just the two of us, COLD, beatiful scenery and romantic.  We really haven't done much for our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th anniversaries except go out for our typical date night.  We don't want to get in a rut of overlooking our anniversary, so we decided to take a second honeymoon this time - Italy in March 2011.  We start our two week vacation in Venice, then on to Florence, Siena, and end up in Rome.  I'll take lots of pictures to share later! 

Anyway, since we do always try to go out for our anniversary on New Years Eve, we did plan for that this year as well.  Since a huge storm decided to make its presense that evening, we pushed our date back a night.  Our plan was to eat Italian and go see a movie.  We called every Italian place in Jackson that interested us, and every single one of them were closed for New Years Day.  Bummer!  So we just went to the movie (saw Black Swan - very interesting and awkward at the same time) and grabbed a pizza to go.  We'll continue our dinner night next weekend - hey, two nights of celebration isn't bad, right?
